The last 2 days have been great, not especially epic, but deep none the less. Check out the helmet cam footage inside.
Skiing off the back bowl of Niseko is a mission with very little viz and extreme winds off the top. We have been down there a few times in better weather and so know our way through the milk and wind scowered ice to the protected ridges and gullies below. Today we got the odd patch of clear(ish) light, but mostly it was head down and straight down, wading through deep pow, or surfing the thinner spots.
We enjoyed it.
